I joined Vertex Holdings at its early stage of formation and had the privilege to witness Vertex grow from a single fund to its current global platform structure, with multiple network and captive funds in key markets around the world.
It has been interesting to witness firsthand the growth of startups, from coming up with new ideas and technologies to actually changing how businesses operate and directly impact the way of life.
In my capacity as CFO, I oversee the financial reporting, tax and compliance functions.
I am deeply involved in the setting up and structuring of our various Funds and management entities, including overseeing the legal documentation of various Funds and limited partnerships.
I also ensure our Funds and management companies optimise benefits from tax incentives, to maximise returns to our limited partners.
I graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Accountancy and joined Arthur Andersen & Co upon graduation.
