Mr. Joshi joined PEAK6 Advisors LLC in August 2008.
He became the Co-Chief Investment Officer of PEAK6 Performance Fund LLC and the Portfolio Manager for the Opportunistic Volatility Trading Strategy.
Prior to this role, he was the Portfolio Manager of the Convertible Arbitrage Strategy and from 2007-2008 was the Portfolio Manager of a Capital Structure Arbitrage and Convertible Bond Arbitrage Strategy for UBS O’Connor.
From 2002 to 2007, he was co-Head of the Convertible Bond Arbitrage Strategy, Head of the Volatility Arbitrage Strategy, and started and was Head of the Opportunistic Credit and Credit Derivatives Strategy at Deephaven Capital.
Before his aforementioned position at Apollo Trading, he was Portfolio Manager of Long Short Fundamental Equity Strategy at CS Investments from 1996-1998.
He started his career in 1993 as a volatility trader for Apollo Trading, a proprietary option trading firm in Chicago.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology in 1993, and a Masters of Business Administration degree with triple concentrations in: Finance, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship in 2000; both from The University of Chicago
