Myer Joy became an Executive Partner at HCI in 2017 to advise the firm in the food manufacturing and distribution sectors.
He brings over 25 years of leadership and operating experience in the food industry to the role, covering all temperature states and channels of commerce.
He serves on the board of the firm’s food sector platform, MSI Express.
Mr. Joy is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Heggies Pizza, a privately held premium frozen food manufacturer in the Midwest.
His responsibilities include finance, supply chain, sales and marketing.
Prior to this role, he was a Vice President at General Mills.
Across almost two decades, Myer held P&L leadership roles of increasing responsibility across the refrigerated, frozen and ambient temperature states.
Mr. Joy also served multiple roles including CMO at Cereal Partners Worldwide, a global joint venture owned by General Mills and Nestle headquartered in Switzerland.
Mr. Joy has an MBA degree from the Harvard Business School and a BS degree in Engineering and Political Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
