Most of Mr. Gurau's venture capital career was spent with Advent International, in its London and Boston offices.
His start-up experience included work in product management, marketing and strategy with Silknet Software (now Kana Communications), a software development company in Manchester, NH.
Prior to Silknet, Michael was General Manager of Living Balance, a direct mail and eCommerce start-up that was part of Oxford Health Plans' Alternative Medicine Division.
Mr. Gurau earned his BS Finance from Babson College and his MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden School.
He spends free time with his family in Freeport, Maine.
Current Board roles include Director of NanoComp Technologies Inc., Juno Rising (dba Isis for Women) and Be.
