Dr. Martin Pfister studied medicine and pharmacy at the University of Greifswald and New York University and received his doctorate in immunology.
He worked in various academic laboratories.
Since 2000 he has been active in the start-up scene.
He took over management positions and is co-founder of two successful companies in the fields of diagnostics & health services.
In 2010 he transferred to the HTGF on the investor side.
With his long-standing experience in drug development/gene therapy and medical technology/diagnostics, he is a valued sparring partner for portfolio companies in the fields of biotechnology and healthcare.
