Dr. Marte Rønning is a Head of Research at Statistics Norway.
She joined the firm in 2007.
Her main research field is economics of education, where she has studied a broad range of topics like the impact of school inputs on educational performance and to which extent different educational policies varies across students from different socioeconomic backgrounds.
She has also done research on teacher mobility and absence.
Lately she has started to work on topics in health economics.
She completed her PhD in Economics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology the fall 2007.
