Mr. Ghori is President and Chief Executive Officer of Accent Texas Fund I, LP and Accent Texas Fund II, LP (“the Funds”).
Prior to joining Accent, Mr. Ghori was a Managing Director at Transamerica Technology Finance Corporation, which was subsequently acquired by GE Capital, Inc. Prior to Transamerica, he was a Principal with Sternhill Partners, a $100 million venture capital firm based in Houston, Texas.
At Sternhill, Mr. Ghori identified potential early-stage investment opportunities, performed in-depth due diligence, structured and closed transactions, and provided ongoing advice and support to Sternhill’s portfolio management teams.
Prior to joining Sternhill, Ghori was the founder and Senior Vice President/Regional Manager of Imperial Bank’s Southwest Regional Office of the Emerging Growth Industries Group (acquired by Comerica Bank), the bank’s first LPO outside of the California offices.
While at Imperial Bank, Mr. Ghori worked as Vice President in the National Accounts Division of Silicon Valley Bank, focusing on investments in high-technology and telecommunications companies located in Austin, Dallas, and Houston, Texas.
Mr. Ghori is currently working with the following companies: Affiniscape, Inc., Caringo, Inc., WhiteGlove House Call Health, Penco, Inc., and Sweet Leaf Tea.
Mr. Ghori holds a B.S.
in Finance from Santa Clara University and an MBA from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
