Ms. Pelayo began her career in 1994 with EGM Capital (formerly known as Emerging Growth Management Company) as an operation associate, rising to trading assistant during her six years with the firm.
In 2000, Ms. Pelayo went to work for Harris, Bretall, Sullivan and Smith where she was responsible for trading the investment firm's largest (over $1 billion) broker services (WRAP) program.
In 2001, she joined Wentworth, Hauser and Violich.
