Microbotic A/S is a holding company that develops a platform for micro handling. It focuses on developing robot technology to handle micro-components. Its technology is based on a mechanical structure called a hexapod, wherein the system is controlled by telemetry - an optical system based on position sensors and a micro camera, which determines position and orientation. Its applications include the MicroHand, which is operated via Spaceball, a three-dimensional manipulation interface; and the MicroSystem solution, which offers the possibility of fully-automated operations. The company was founded in 2001 and is headquartered in Gorlose, Denmark.
