Dr. Katharina Nicolay is a Deputy Head of Research Department at Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung GmbH.

She is also one of two coordinators of the Leibniz ScienceCampus "MannheimTaxation".
Since January 2015 she has been assistant professor for accounting and taxation at the University of Mannheim.
Her research interest cover topics of international business taxation, empirical tax research, evaluation of tax reforms, and tax accounting.
She completed her doctoral thesis at the University of Mannheim in March 2013.
Before joining ZEW, she studied international business administration at Eberhard Karls University Tübingen and economics at the Université Panthéon Sorbonne in Paris.
