Mr. Kai Lam, CFA, is a Chief Investment Officer at JCIC Asset Management, Inc. He joined JCIC in 2017, broadening the firm’s focus toward international equities and expanding the firm’s asset allocation capabilities.
In his role as CIO, he takes an objective and methodical approach, with an understanding that there’s always more to learn when looking for investment opportunities.
He is continuously focused on finding new companies to invest in, and ways to improve performance.
He has more than two and a half decades of experience in the Canadian investment industry, beginning his career as an associate analyst for CIBC World Markets before moving to Gluskin Sheff + Associates, where he was managing director and portfolio manager.
Mr. Lam graduated from Queen’s University with a B.
Comm (Hons.) with first-class honours, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder.
He is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
