Dr. Jung-Herng Chang joined Trident Microsystems, Inc. in July 1992 and was appointed President in November 2005.
He served as President of the Digital Media Business Unit in April 2000 and resigned as President on February 02, 2008.
Previously, Dr. Chang had served as Senior Vice President of Graphics Engineering for Trident Microsystems since January 1998 and as Vice President of Engineering since January 1995.
He served as Chief Technical Officer of Trident Microsystems from July 1992 to January 1995.
From October 1988 to July 1992, Dr. Chang was a Hardware Design Manager at Sun Microsystems, Inc. From September 1985 to September 1988, he was a Research Member at IBM's Thomas J.
Watson Research Center.
Dr. Chang received a PhD in Computer Science and an MS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California-Berkeley and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the National Taiwan University.
