Mr. John R.
Casey is Partner at Dowling Capital Partners LLC.
He joined the firm in 2011.
Previously, he was a Managing Director and member of the Investment Banking Executive Committee of Aon Benfield Securities, Inc., a subsidiary of Aon Corporation.
Prior to this position, Mr. Casey was Executive Vice President of Aon Re (the predecessor company to Aon Benfield, Inc.).
He also was a Senior Vice President of Aon Group where he advised on and executed various acquisitions and capital transactions, including the securitization of Aon’s portfolio of 52 private equity and real estate limited partnership interests.
Prior to joining Aon Corporation in 2000, he was a Managing Director of Century Capital Management, LLC, a Boston-based mutual fund and private equity firm where he was a portfolio manager of Century Shares Trust, a mutual fund specializing in insurance stocks.
Prior to Century, he was an insurance stock analyst with boutique broker dealers including Dowling & Partners.
Mr. Casey received a BS from The University of Connecticut and an MA in Economics from The University of Connecticut.
