From 1995 to 1999 he was responsible for evaluating and recommending stock selection strategies to Frank Russell clients.
He focused primarily on strategies utilizing quantitative tools and techniques for implementation purposes.
His specific areas of research responsibility included: US Market-Oriented, Market-Neutral, TAA, Global TAA, and Global Balanced.
From 1989 to 1993, he was an Analyst for Merrill Lynch Consulting Services.
He was part of a three person team responsible for providing overall investment consulting services to public plan sponsors throughout Florida.
Services included asset allocation studies, manager searches, and ongoing performance measurement.
Mr. Thames received his MBA from the University of W.
Florida in 1994 and his BA in Finance from the University of Florida in 1989.
He has also completed MBA course work at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
