McComsey is Co-Founder & Senior Partner at McComsey Asset Management LLC.
Prior to co-founding McComsey Asset Management in 2005, he spent fifteen years with Nicholas Applegate in San Diego.
He became a partner of the firm in 1992 and played a major role in its growth from $400 million under management to over $50 billion before he retired in 2002.
He also spent seven years as a pension consultant for Merrill Lynch, with clients such as Atlantic Richfield, City of Los Angeles and Mattel.
Mr. McComsey is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy with a BS degree in 1964 and earned an MBA in 1974 from the University of Southern California.
