Mr. Jacob C.
Weaver, CFA MBA, is a Head of Equity Index Management at Northern Trust Investments, Inc. He is responsible for the global equity index, tax advantaged equity and some quantitative strategies portfolio management teams as well as the proxy voting and engagement teams.
Prior to rejoining the global equity team in Chicago in 2010, Mr. Weaver was the head of international indexing in the London office, overseeing a team of portfolio managers investing to various international indexes.
Prior to this role, he spent six years as a portfolio manager focused on tax advantaged equity and various quantitative strategies including Quality Small Cap Core.
Mr. Weaver received a B.S.
in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in finance and organizational behavior.
He is an active CFA charter holder, a CPA, and is a member of the CFA Chicago Society and the CFA Institute.
