Jae Hwang (Hong Kong) joined KKR in 2019 and is a member of the Capital Markets team, where he is responsible for executing debt and equity capital markets activities for KKR portfolio companies in Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Hwang was with The Carlyle Group where he focused on the corporate private equity investments in Korea.
Before Carlyle, Mr. Hwang was a member of J.P.
Morgan Securities Asia Pacific (Hong Kong) and was involved in a variety of mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate advisory transactions in the industrial sector.
He holds a B.A.
in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
