Michael Egan has been Vice Chairman of TransMolecular, Inc. since April 2009 and is Senior Vice President of Commercial Development for GenVec, Inc. He was President and Chief Executive Officer of TransMolecular, Inc. Prior to joining TransMolecular in July 2005, he was Chief Operating Officer of Diacrin, Inc., a Director of Repligen Clinical Partners LP and Secretary and Treasurer of Repligen Sandoz Research Corp.
Mr. Egan was a Laboratory Supervisor of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Inc. He has over 15 years of experience in business development and laboratory management.
Mr. Egan received a BS degree in Biology from Boston College and an MA degree and a Certificate of Special Studies in Administration and Management from Harvard University.

Expanded research confirms that TM601 can deliver a variety of conjugates, creating potential for development of a wide array of anti-cancer therapies. In addition to the tumor targeting capability of TM601, a number of studies have also revealed that TM0601 exerts robust anti-angiogenic effects on vessels associated with neovascular disease. Pursuing this anti-angiogenic potential further, They have also determined the utility of TM601 in animal ophthalmic models.
