Mr. Donald J.
Herman, CFA MBA, is a Vice President & Institutional Portfolio Manager at Jarislowsky, Fraser Ltd.
He joined Jarislowsky Fraser in 2003 and is a Partner in the Calgary office.
He manages portfolios and client relationships for the Private Wealth and Institutional lines of business in Canada and the United States.
He is primary responsible for the management and servicing of Indigenous peoples nationally with secondary focus on institutional corporate and large foundation accounts.
Prior to joining Jarislowsky Fraser, Mr. Herman worked for eight years with Deutsche Bank Securities in London and Toronto, Canada in their Fixed Income Origination group.
He also spent five years with the Province of Alberta’s Investment Management Division (now AIMCO) managing public and private investments for the Province’s Heritage Trust Fund and other investment accounts.
He received his B.Comm.
degree from the University of Alberta (School of Business) and an MBA from Queen's University.
