Profil
Dillon is the Country Manager for Korea and Business Development Manager.
His focus is on building and managing strong business relationships with some of the top companies in Korea, and on delivering strategic and financial synergies between DTCP’s portfolio companies and said companies.
Prior to joining DTCP, he was one of the co-founding members and the Korea Country Manager of a US-based VR startup, Oculus, which was acquired by Facebook for $2.3B USD.
At Oculus, he was responsible for sourcing VR content to support its content ecosystem, building a manufacturing partnership with Samsung, and helping the HQ team to establish business relationships with some of Korea's top companies.
Dillon is also a seed investor for early stage startups and has invested in a number of startups such as Dibiup, Shakr, and Cream NYC.
He also founded a VR content development company named VoleR Creative and released two VR games on the Steam VR platform.
Dillon holds a BSc degree in Mathematics and Applied Statistics from the University of Alberta in Canada and has been selected as an IT advisor to various ministries and government agencies in Korea to help the Korean government support the local IT industry.
