Dr. Dave Stanton is Founding Partner & Special Advisor at Francisco Partners Management LLC, Mr. Stanton was a founding partner of Francisco Partners.
Prior to founding Francisco Partners, Mr. Stanton led the technology investing activities of TPG from 1994 until August 1999.
Prior to joining TPG, he was a venture capitalist with Trinity Ventures, which specializes in investments in information technology, software and telecommunications companies.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Stanton was a strategy consultant with Bain & Company.
He serves as the chairman of the board of directors of GXS and as a director of AMI and C-MAC.
Dr. Stanton received a MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, a BS in Chemical Engineering with Distinction from Stanford University, and a Ph.D.
studies in Materials Science at Northwestern University where he was a Cabell Fellow.
