Mr. Dave A.
Gezon is Founder & Senior Managing Director at Midwest Mezzanine Funds.
He has over twenty-five years of mezzanine and private equity experience in addition to nine years of middle-market lending experience.
Prior to founding Midwest in 1992, Mr. Gezon originated mezzanine investments for Kleinwort Benson Limited (now Dresdner Kleinwort) from 1986 to 1991.
From 1988 to 1991, he was an Investment Manager for The KB Mezzanine Fund, where he was one of six professionals responsible for originating, investing and monitoring investments.
Prior to joining Kleinwort, he was a leveraged lender for GE Capital and Harris Nesbitt where he was responsible for originating, structuring, and negotiating leveraged buyout financing.
In addition to his role as the Midwest managing partner, he serves or has served as Director or Board Observer of Apex Microtechnology, Handy Industries, Bell Sports, SunCom, E.H.
Baare and Parkway Products.
Mr. Gezon received his MBA.
in Marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and earned a BS in Finance from Miami University (Ohio).
