He majored in Finance from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln and received his degree from the College of Business Administration in 1973.
Mr. McPhail and his wife are active in the local community serving on the foundation board of their church and the Iowa State Soccer Board.
Together they enjoy playing golf and attending sporting events.
