Clare Paterson

The British Refugee Council is an organization that supports and empowers refugees. The British company has recently changed their strategy and will no longer offer stand-alone training externally, but instead will pursue a partner-based approach. One of their partnerships is with E5 Bakehouse in London, UK, where they run a project called Just Bread. This project brings refugees together to share their creativity and cultural heritage while acquiring the skills of a professional baker. The project supports the emotional needs of refugee women by helping them rebuild their self-esteem and develop job search skills. The non-profit company was founded in 1951, and Maurice Wren has been the CEO of the company since 2013.
