Mr. Bruno Heusser is a Head of Fixed Income & Balanced at Swiss Rock Asset Management AG.
He is responsible for fixed income and mixed mandates.
He has more than two decades of experience in bond/interest rate analysis and in bond portfolio management.
He began his career as an economist and bond analyst with UBS’ Investment Research & Portfolio Management division, where he was responsible for interest rate curve and credit risk strategies for major strategy funds.
In addition to analysis and portfolio management, he authored regular market commentaries and numerous specialist studies in the field of quantitative bond management.
From 1997 to 2005, he was responsible for investment funds and institutional clients within the CHF bond division at Credit Suisse Asset Management.
In 2001, he took over the European High-Yield Division (non-investment grade), a role that involved spending a good deal of time in London and New York.
In 2005, he returned to UBS, where he managed numerous UBS bond funds and institutional clients.
He later set up the Portable Alpha Derivatives Unit and other associated derivatives products in Zurich.
He also brought his knowledge and expertise to bear as a member of the global Fixed-Income Investment Committee.
His main interests lie in the practical application of quantitative methods in bond portfolio management.
Mr. Heusser has an Economist degree (lic.oec.publ.) from the University of Zurich.
