Darling is a Director & Senior Research Analyst at Jarislowsky, Fraser Ltd.
He joined Jarislowsky Fraser in July 2016 as a Research Analyst for international equities, with a focus on international banking and financials.
He draws on his extensive knowledge of global financial equities gained through over 14 years of investment experience.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Darling was a Director and Portfolio Manager with the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan where he managed a portfolio of global financial equities.
As a senior member of the Global Active Equities team, he helped oversee fundamental bottom-up stock picking.
He has also previously worked at RBC Capital Markets in Equity Research and CIBC World Markets Finance.
He began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. leading audit engagements of banks, broker dealers and asset managers.
Mr. Darling received his B.A.
(Honors) degree from the University of Western Ontario (Ivey School of Business).
He is also a CFA Charter holder and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA).
