Ben Davenport is a Technical Advisor at Blockchain Capital.

Prior to Blockchain Capital, Ben co-founded BitGo, where he served as CTO.
BitGo is one of the most systemically important companies in the industry, providing multi-sig crypto security infrastructure and custody.
Previously, Ben also co-founded Beluga, a cross-platform group mobile messaging app.
Beluga was acquired by Facebook in 2011 and became the basis for Facebook Messenger.
Ben helped build the earliest versions of Facebook Messenger and later served as an engineering manager for the initial launch of Instagram Ads.
Prior to starting Beluga, Ben worked as an algorithmic trader at Hudson River Trading, where he developed a deeper understanding of market structure and behavior.
Ben began his career as an engineer at Microsoft on the MSN Explorer team and later at Google, where he helped build the first versions of AdSense.
Ben holds an MS in Computer Science from the University of Washington and a BSE in Computer Science from Princeton University.
