Ali Akbar Salehi is currently serving as Vice President at the Government of Iran since 2013.
He is also a Professor at Sharif University of Technology.
Previously, he held the position of Head at the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran from 2009 to 2010.
He also served as Chancellor at Imam Khomeini International University from 1988 to 1989.
Salehi obtained his doctorate degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1977 and his undergraduate degree from the American University of Beirut in 1971.
