Prior to joining San Antonio Water System, he served as Interim President of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of the San Antonio Technology Accelerator Initiative (SATAI) Network, and as Interim Executive Director of the Brooks Development Authority.
Mr. Briseño was appointed as Professor of Public Service at St. Mary's University.
Previously, he served as Manager of San Antonio Water System from April 1990 to March 2001 and later became Chief Executive Officer.
