As an Executive Advisor to Blue Sea Capital, Al assists with the evaluation and management of the firm’s industrial growth investments, particularly those in the agriculture and agri-foods sectors.
Previously, Al was the co-founder and CEO of Revolution Energy Solutions, which provides clean energy solutions to the agriculture and agri-foods industry through the recycling of waste into value.
Prior to that, Al founded and served as CEO of AgCert International Plc, a global leader in the production and sale of agriculturally derived greenhouse gas emission reductions, which are utilized to satisfy the requirements of the Kyoto Protocol and the European Union Emission Trading Scheme.
Previously, Al was the CEO of the National Pork Producers Council, which is often recognized for its innovative marketing campaign, “Pork, The Other White Meat.”
Al is married with two adult children.
In his spare time, he enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities and assists in the management and operation of his family farm in Iowa.
