Business activity analysis

After a difficult first half of 2013, we have noticed an improvement during the third quarter. This activity recovered strongly in the fourth quarter, allowing the sales revenues to reach
€26.2M.
Compared to 2012, the activity however slightly decreased in the fourth quarter (-1.1%), despite a sharp increase of the workforce (+4.6%). The increase in the recruitment process arrived indeed a little bit late to have an impact on the financial year 2013, but it's good omens for 2014. Moreover, all regions have been impacted by a negative calendar shift with one working day less compared to the fourth quarter of 2012. With similar number of working
days, the sales revenue would have renewed with a slight growth (+0.44%).

The French-speaking zone's sales revenue is almost identical compared to the year 2012 (-0.3%). It renewed with a positive organic growth of 4.2% in the third quarter despite one working day less. We noticed a clear improvement in France and in Belgium thanks to the signature of several significant contracts at the end of 2013. The Luxembourg continues to recover thanks to the reorganization carried out in 2012.
In Germany the 2013 sales revenue decreased by 6.3%. This region is still facing recruitment difficulties.
In the North & South region Spain confirmed its return to positive organic growth since summer recording an increase of 4.7% in the last quarter with the contribution of the Panamanian entity. Italy performed very well with an organic growth of 18%. The Netherlands faced meanwhile an important decrease of Outsourcing sales during 2013 (-25.1% in the last quarter) which had a negative impact on the whole region.

Thanks to a significant improvement of the staff turnover, the recruitments increase and the implementation of the Next Vision strategic plan, the Group renewed with a real buoyant growth during the last quarter of 2013. Several new clients have shown confidence in us by signing new contracts and with new framework agreements in major accounts. The sharp increase of the number of consultants and engineers during the last quarter ensures a positive organic growth as from the beginning of 2014 and a gradual improvement of our margins.
