M. Jerome Labat est directeur de la technologie et vice-président exécutif chez Cerner Corp. M. Labat était auparavant employé comme directeur de la technologie chez Micro Focus International Plc et directeur de la technologie chez Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Co. Il prend le relais de son père René après sa mort (1973) en devenant vice-président exécutif puis directeur général (1975-1976). Le président directeur général de Schlumberger Jean Riboud n'apprécie pas sa soif d'indépendance et le licencie. Seydoux rebondit en reprenant le groupe textile Pricel en 1976 puis le conglomérat Chargeurs en 1980.

En 1973, il répond à la demande de Philippe Viannay de ne pas diviser les parts familiales dans le capital du Nouvel Observateur puis, en 1977, il accepte de participer au capital du Matin de Paris au même niveau que Claude Perdriel.

En 1986, aux côtés de Silvio Berlusconi, et avec le soutien de François Mitterrand, il préside le conseil d'administration de La Cinq, sa première expérience dans les médias audiovisuels.

Il entre ensuite dans le capital de Libération en mai 1993 au côté d'Antoine Riboud et Gilbert Trigano, puis la prise de contrôle du titre par sa société Chargeurs, en janvier 1996.

Entre 1998 et 1999, il est président du conseil d'administration de British Sky Broadcasting, puis de la chaîne Comédie.

En 1991 il rachète à Giancarlo Parretti la société de cinéma Pathé pour 1 milliard de francs dont il devient le PDG jusqu'en 2000, puis président du conseil de surveillance entre 2000 et 2002. Depuis 2002, il est co-président de Pathé, tandis que son frère Nicolas dirige Gaumont. Les deux frères opèrent le rapprochement des activités d'exploitation des deux sociétés au sein du groupe Europalaces.

Le catalogue de Pathé International compte 660 titres Pathé signe la production d'une douzaine de films par an, avec par exemple le filon des Astérix. Sous les enseignes Pathé ou Gaumont, Europalaces est le premier circuit de salles en France (plus de 20 % du marché) et dans le peloton de tête en Europe, avec 742 écrans dans 74 cinémas dans quatre pays européens. Prochaine étape : financer l'internationalisation du groupe pour pérenniser les résultats de Pathé, et développer Europalaces.

Après « Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis », devenu historique numéro 1 au box office du cinéma français en 2008, 8 oscars ont été attribués en 2009 au film Slumdog Millionaire de Danny Boyle, coproduit principalement par le groupe de Jérôme Seydoux, et qui a déjà rapporté plus de 160 millions de dollars en quelques semaines.

Jérôme Seydoux occupe également une place au conseil d'administration de l'Olympique lyonnais dont il possède 34 % en tant que vice-président au côté de Jean-Michel Aulas.

Jusqu'en 2005, il était aussi présent au conseil d'administration de Danone, ainsi que membre et vice-président du conseil de surveillance de la Compagnie du Mont-Blanc.

Jérôme Lambert est né en 1969 de parents éleveurs de moutons. Il grandit dans un petit village de la région de Vesoul, dans l’Est de la France. Il sort diplômé de l’école l’EST Management School (actuelle Paris School of Business) et de l’Institut de hautes études en administration publique.

Jérôme Lambert entre en 1996 dans le groupe Richemont, fondé en 1988 par Johann Rupert, un milliardaire sud-africain. Il y occupe d’abord un poste de contrôleur financier chez Jaeger-LeCoultre, une entreprise horlogère située en Suisse dans le canton de Vaud, en vallée de Joux. En 1999, il en devient directeur financier, avant d'en prendre les commandes en 2002, devenant ainsi le plus jeune directeur général d’une marque du groupe Richemont. De 2009 à 2012, il dirige également l’entreprise Lange & Söhne, autre marque horlogère.

Le dirigeant quitte l’entreprise en 2013 pour rejoindre la marque Montblanc, toujours dans le groupe Richemont, spécialisée dans les stylos plumes. Il y met en œuvre des projets numériques, à la conquête de nouveaux marchés, comme celui des bracelets connectés en 2015, ou des technologies de transposition de l’écrit au numérique en 2016. En 2017, sous son égide, Montblanc lance une montre intelligente.

Parallèlement à ses activités de direction de Montblanc, il est chargé de superviser les activités d’Horlogerie spécialisée et du secteur Mode et Accessoires du groupe. Le 10 novembre 2017, il est nommé pour diriger les opérations du groupe (services centraux et régionaux), excepté celles des marques Van Cleef & Arpels et Cartier, et quitte ainsi Montblanc.

Il est nommé en septembre 2018 directeur général du groupe de luxe suisse Richemont, fonction qui avait été pourtant supprimée plus d’un an et demi avant après le départ en retraite de son prédécesseur Richard Lepeu. Il reprend ainsi seul en main un groupe qui avait été dirigé pendant ces 18 mois par un comité exécutif collégial de quatre personnes, dont lui. Son rival George Kern a rejoint le concurrent Breitling.

Il se retrouve donc à la tête d’un des trois plus grands groupes mondiaux du luxe, avec Kering et LVMH, en occupant notamment une place prépondérante dans le secteur des montres, de la joaillerie, de la mode et de la maroquinerie.
