Mr. Youri Vorobiev started his career in 1997 with Pictet & Cie as an analyst in charge of the Russian market and European Steel and Paper sectors.
His positions has subsequently evolved into work on Global Sectorial Strategy.
In 2001 he joined Ferrier Lullin (Geneva's oldest private bank, then part of the UBS group) as an Equity analyst in charge of the Global Energy, Basic Materials and Utilities sectors with recommendations encompassing individual stocks and sector views.
In December 2005 Mr. Youri Vorobiev joined Vontobel Asset Management AG as an analyst overseeing the Energy and Utilities sectors in Europe and the United States.
Since July 2007, he is responsible for the Vontobel Fund – Global Trend New Power.
