Prior to joining Hummer Winblad in 2005, Mr. Price was a Senior Vice President with Pequot Ventures, where he focused on investments in information technology.
While at Pequot, Mr. Price served as a director on the boards of Tectura, Klocwork, and Kavado and as a board observer on Scalent Systems and Securify.
Previously, Mr. Price served as COO of Lumenati Inc., a venture-backed company developing broadband software applications.
Prior to Lumenati, Mr. Price was CEO of Embark Solutions, where he raised Series A funding and led the company through its merger with Lumenati.
He has also worked with the Boston Consulting Group, Infinity Financial Technology and Morgan Stanley.
Mr. Price graduated from Harvard College and earned his M.B.A.
from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University where he graduated at the top of his class.
