Dr. Viginta Ivaškaite-Tamošiune is Economic Analyst at European Commission Joint Research Centre.

Dr. Ivaškaite-Tamošiune also develops and uses microsimulation modelling tools to assess the impact of fiscal reforms affecting tax revenues, employment and disposable income in the EU Member States.
She was previously employed as Researcher by European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE), focusing on development of the Gender Equality Index, Professor of Social Policy & Public Economics by Vilnius University and Researcher of Social Policy & Public Economics by Lithuanian Social Research Centre.
She also worked on the microsimulation model EUROMOD.
Dr. Ivaškaite-Tamošiune holds a PhD in Sociology (2013) and a Master's degree in Social Policy (2006) from the Vilnius University (Lithuania).
