Mr. Thomas P.
Meehan is a President at Edgemoor Investment Advisors, Inc. He is the founder and is chair of the firm’s Investment Selection Committee.
He provides asset allocation advice, is the principal portfolio manager for Edgemoor, and is the investment manager of Edgemoor's equity mutual fund.
Before establishing the firm in 1999, Mr. Meehan was president of the Washington law firm Sherman, Meehan, Curtin & Ain, P.C., which he co-founded in 1968, and served as portfolio manager for the firm’s retirement plan.
He holds a BA from Middlebury College and an LLB with Honors from Duke University Law School, where he served on the Duke Law Journal and was elected to the Order of the Coif.
After graduating from Duke, he was a Ford Foundation Prettyman Fellow at Georgetown University Law Center.
