Mr. Thomas E.
Bailard is a Consultant at Bailard, Inc. He co-founded the firm in 1969.
He currently assists with the firm's real estate investing.
Currently, he serves on the executive board of the Parkinson's Institute and Clinical Center in Sunnyvale, California and on the board of trustees of the Palo Alto Medical Foundation.
He has more than 46 years of investment experience.
He was formerly the national chairman of Stanford's Annual Fund during the Stanford Centennial Campaign.
From 1971 to 1981, he served as a Big Brother in San Mateo County.
From 1989 to 1994, he served as a member of the board of directors of Stanford University Hospital.
From 1992 to 2002, he served as a director and was chair of the board of the Peninsula Community Foundation (which has since merged into the Silicon Valley Community Foundation).
He also served as a trustee of Menlo School.
He received his BA in political science from Stanford University in 1964 and earned his MBA at the Graduate School of Business in 1969.
