Mapfre Asset Management SGIIC SA is the Madrid-based, wholly-owned subsidiary of Mapfre Inversion Sociedad de Valores SA, itself a subsidiary of Fundación Mapfre in Spain. Established in 1988, the firm provides fund management to individual and institutional clients.

BBVA Asset Management SA SGIIC (BBVA-AM) is the asset management subsidiary of Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria SA (BME: BBVA, ADR: BBVA) in Spain. Founded in 1979 as BBV Gestinova, the firm became BBVA Gestión in 2000 when BBV Gestinova and Argentaria Gestión merged and was rebranded as BBVA-AM in 2008. They are headquartered in Madrid and manage pension plans and participate in the Latin American markets of Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina. BBVA-AM also manages a range of investment mandates for insurance companies, employment plans and corporate clients through their platform in Luxembourg.
