Mr. Thomas N.
Richmond, Jr., is a Chief Investment Officer at Wasmer, Schroeder & Co. LLC.
He is responsible for the oversight of the portfolio management and research functions at the firm.
He is the Chairman of the Firm’s Investment Committee, and is a member of the Executive, Credit and Portfolio Management committees.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Richmond served as a Principal of GLC Capital Management LLC in 2001 when WSC made a decision to invest in GLC and the two firms merged in January 2008.
He previously served as the Senior Vice President and Manager of mortgage-backed securities trading for McDonald & Company Securities, Inc. During his tenure with McDonald & Company Securities, Inc., he also served as the co-head of Real Estate Investment Trust investment banking, as well as several other ancillary capacities within the Firms Structured Finance group.
Preceding his tenure with McDonald & Company Securities, Inc., he served as the head of PaineWebber’s Collateralized Mortgage Obligation arbitrage group where he was responsible for many aspects of the Firm’s agency and proprietary CMO issuance businesses.
Prior to that, he served as head of CMO structuring at Salomon Brothers Inc., now Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. after advancing from the Firm’s financial institutions/quantitative support group.
Mr. Richmond earned his B.S.
in Computer Science and his M.S.
in Applied Mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he also minored in Economics and Management.
