Before joining Citizens in 2000, Ms. Kelly was a vice president and assistant equity portfolio manager at John Hancock Advisors, Inc. Her responsibilities included assisting in the management of several mid-cap equity funds with over $300 million in assets.
She also worked as a vice president and assistant fixed income portfolio manager, managing five closed-end balanced funds with over $1 billion in assets.
Previously, Ms. Kelly was a vice president and taxable fixed income portfolio manager at Smith Barney, Inc., in New York, where she developed long- and short-term investment strategies for two corporate bond portfolios.
A graduate of Purdue University, Ms. Kelly earned her M.B.A.
from New York University, Leonard N.
Stern School of Business, with a double major in finance and strategic management.
She is a CFA Level II candidate.
