Ascension Investment Management LLC (AIM) is a SEC-registered investment advisor headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. The firm was founded in 2011 as Catholic Healthcare Investment Management Company (CHIMCO), a non-profit corporation, using Ascension Investment Management as its primary business name. In order to effectuate a change in their form of organization, substantially all of the assets and liabilities of CHIMCO were transferred to AIM. The firm is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ascension Capital LLC, which is wholly owned by Ascension Health Alliance, a non-profit corporation organized for charitable, religious, educational and scientific purposes. AIM provides investment advice and consulting to institutional investors through a commingled investment vehicle as well as through the use of separate accounts.

Aurora Investment Management is a registered investment advisor and hedge fund manager located in Chicago, Illinois. The firm’s business was established in January 1988 with the launch of the multi-strategy fund, Aurora LP. From inception until the end of 2003, the firm was part of Harris Associates LP. At the end of 2003, the firm became operationally independent of Harris Associates, operating as an indirect subsidiary of Natixis Global Asset Management LP, which is an indirect subsidiary of Natixis Global Asset Management (NGAM), an international asset management group based in Paris, France. NGAM is owned by Natixis, a French investment banking and financial services firm. Natixis is principally owned by BPCE, France’s second largest banking group. In March 2009, the firm’s name was changed to Aurora Investment Management LLC to more closely align their name with the products they manage. Aurora provides multi-advisor investment strategies to a broad investor base through private funds sponsored by Aurora, registered investment companies advised or sub-advised by Aurora, and customized portfolio solutions, including single investor or commingled funds through advisory or sub-advisory agreements.
