Mr. Hammer joined AlpInvest Partners in 2012 from the Credit Suisse Customized Fund Investment Group, where he was a Partner and member of the Investment Committee, responsible for private equity fund investments, managing existing client relationships and the acquisition of new investment mandates.
Prior to Credit Suisse, Scott was an attorney in the private funds group of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld in New York.
Mr. Hammer received a Law degree from the Boston University School of Law and a BA in Political Science from Southwestern University, Georgetown, Texas.
He currently holds the Series 7 and 63 securities licenses with the U.S.
