I am a board director, strategic advisor, and venture partner, operating at the intersection of private capital, business and government.
I draw on insights and a toolkit developed from my decade-long experience at the forefront of politics as a lawmaker (Member of Parliament) and Government Minister, and a decade in investment banking and business before politics.
Experience in the public and private sector has given me perspectives on the complex interaction between geopolitics, high-level policy making and financing the innovation economy.

I began my career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs, where I worked on UK corporate finance and M&A advisory transactions, before joining the Equities Business, after which I was an angel investor in and developed a number of early-stage businesses.
Born in the UK , and brought up in Ghana, I read Philosophy, Politics and Economics, at Oxford University, where I was elected President of the Oxford Union.
