After his studies Mr. Romain Pasche worked as a buy side analyst with a special focus on healthcare at Union Bancaire Privée in Geneva.
His primary tasks were comprising visits to, and the evaluation of, companies on the basis of own financial forecasts and the formulation of investment recommendations to asset managers and major clients via reports and presentations.
His formation comprised a 3-month internship at Orbimed Advisors (New York), a company specialising in the financial analysis of pharmaceutical companies and sector-related asset management.
Mr. Romain Pasche also took part in the Evaluation of the quality of shareholder information in his capacity as member of the Commission for Shareholder Information of the Swiss Association of Financial Analysts and Asset Managers (A.S.A.G.).
In August 2000 Mr. Romain Pasche joined Vontobel Asset Management AG as an analyst/fund manager.
He is responsible for the European healthcare sector and managing the Vontobel Fund – Life & Health, which has been launched in November 2000.
