He has years of experience in technology investment banking and finance.
He has been involved in over 150 completed transactions, including a wide variety of domestic and cross-border transactions such as public and private financings, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
Prior to joining Yorkville, Mr. Buxton was a Managing Director and Co-Head of CIBC World Markets Technology Investment Banking Group.
He also established CIBCs Alternative Energy Group where he completed several public and private financings.
Prior to CIBC, he was a member of Dean Witter Reynolds mergers and acquisitions group.
Mr. Buxton earned an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated valedictorian from Millsaps College with a BS in Economics.
