Prior to founding Dogwood Equity in 2002, Mr. Carlisle was Secretary of Commerce.
He has experience in economic development, finance, and investment in North Carolina.
Much of his work focused on developing rural economies, including attracting new investment and generating sources of capital for rural business growth.
He helped create much of the business development support infrastructure in North Carolina and knows the business, financial and political leadership of the state well.
