Rick Cabrera serves as the chief financial officer for TDS.
In this position, he is responsible for the financial strategic planning of the company.
When he joined TDS in January 2001, Rick brought with him 10 years of extensive financial experience in the solid waste industry, primarily from his tenure with Browning-Ferris Industries, Inc. (BFI), and a public accounting firm.
Rick also served as the vice president and controller for U.S.
Ecology, Inc., located in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Rick earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Rhodes University at Memphis in 1977 and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1979.
Rick is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
