Previously, Mr. Baxter was the Director of Member Affairs for the Energy Storage Council.
Prior to Ardour Capital, he was a Director at Pearl Street, Inc. where he was responsible for new business development in the nascent energy storage market.
He led electric power research at the Yankee Group evaluating growth prospects for new technology firms and providing due diligence services to the financial industry.
At Standard & Poor's DRI Energy Group he was responsible for key environmental and electric power components of the US electric power forecasts, and led multi-client studies and consulting engagements for senior Utility executives on emerging technical and market changes.
Mr. Baxter has a M.S.
degree in Energy Management Policy from the University of Pennsylvania, a B.S.
in History from Tennessee State University, and a B.S.
in Materials Engineering from Virginia Tech University.
Currently finishing course work for his MBA from Northeastern University.
He has written over 40 articles and reports on energy technology related topics.
