Mr. Sgueglia landed his first job on the floor of the American Stock Exchange in the Equity Options area for Dean Witter Reynolds.
He then moved to the Institutional equities desk at Schroeder Wertheim and later transitioned to NASDAQ market making.
In 1998 he was recruited by Fleet Boston, where he was given a mandate to create and manage a foreign equity desk, focusing primarily on arbitrage situations between ADR's (American Depositary Receipts) the corresponding foreign local shares.
After expanding that desk into a full service foreign equity desk, the group then moved, in 2002, to Burlington Capital Markets, which was subsequently taken over by Tullett Liberty, and finally Collins Stewart.
Mr. Sgueglia Graduated Union College in Schenectady NY in 1993, with a BA in Political Science.
