Mr. Parker joined HarbourVest in 2008.
Most recently, he was managing director of Composition Capital Partners, a global real estate funds-of-funds firm based in The Netherlands.
Mr. Parker has also served as senior managing director at Beacon Capital Partners, a Boston-based real estate investment firm.
During his ten years at Beacon and its predecessor public company, Mr. Parker was responsible for capital formation, investment strategy, and investor relations.
Prior to Beacon, he spent eight years at AEW Capital Management, where his responsibilities included managing real estate investment portfolios for institutional clients.
Mr. Parker received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kentucky in 1981 and an MBA from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania in 1988.
He is a member of the Pension Real Estate Association and the Association of Foreign Investment in Real Estate.
